Without the removed filters which are mostly for photo editing and which I don't need and with the nag screen which, since I use a lot of freebies for my online work, is not a big bother, this is a wonderful program with a ton of features. You are not doing yourself any favors by putting in an annoying spam advertisement into your program. For the purpose of generating quality videos, Howler provides users with a set of editing tools, such as the "Stroke player" that allows users to playback brush strokes; with the "Keyframer", users can determine the path of a brush and even include motion blur; the "Timeline" tool enables users to apply effect filters to the video. I once had problems with graphics software that I bought. Intentionally adding in unwanted advertisement would cost you more customers than it would actually get you. It says you can use with tablets, but.. Will report later if the same file pops up again in the IObit logs.

Installed on windows xp sp3 and crashes as soon as starts, says Run-time error ' howlrr Automation Error. Once installed, administrative rights are no longer required. Although GIMP is a powerful free art package that should be in every artist's digital repertoir if only because it offers a free and compatible workarounds for alpha channels and virtual world viewers, I honestly don't know much about using GIMP as I have Photoshop plus Howler thank you GOTD plus Twisted Brush, all with projrct learning curves but tons of jaw-dropping features you may only discover by viewing tutorials and video tuts on the software vendor's sites, YouTube and the many other art sites where people share their discoveries and techniques.
It's just that I see those comments pass by with thiese types of software everytime and I think it's not similar to say maintenance software where you won't need or even want multiple programs.
Two software lock-ups in under 2 hours is not happy! Uninstalled quick after realizing the popup happens every single time it is launched, not just the first time. Not whining, just pointing out it does say the softwares here are "full, commercial versions". It is getting hard to dogwafffle XP though.
There are a large number of filters that operate in real-time and full-screen. Error accessing the OLE registry.

A note for The Gimp's users. Program seems to work using basic functional tests by clicking through bowler 'ignore' selection on the error box. But Dogwaffle still yowler the best brush engines and this "special version" of the program not only has a tremendous number of brushes, brush effects and animation features but has a lot more documentation than most of the give-aways I've installed. Many of these programs allow a program to be excepted for just such a case.

Clicked "ignore" and setup appeared to finish normally. Dogwaffle uninstall is very dirty. To prevent this file from virus or other malwares, Vista does not allow anyone to change it.
Also we put a lot into having robust artist media, and of course animation support.

Yikes, my jaw dropped when Dogwaffle's name appeared. TB has a free version that does a good job, but the paid version is really the best. The fact that it is a Special Edition with 20 filters not included means that it dogwaffl valued at the same price as the full version. If you have this error message, just ignore it to finish the install.
